November Snow

Monday Morning, November 10, 2008. Somewhere in Michigan.

This is out my front door and I hope you can see it. It's beautiful but wreaking havoc as the first snowfall usually does. It won't last long. The rest of the week will be warmer again, but we're just being warned of what is to come!

Have a good day!

I do miss Michigan when the colors are bright in the fall and that smell of loam is in the air.

I like snow for short periods, but I really appreciate that it still gets up to 70 degrees here.

But...that said....

the world gets washed white and it feels good to look out at the beautiful white expanse and breath in that crystal clear breath on those new winterish days.

Its beautiful! I love it when it snows and I can stay home....which isn't too often. Life goes on.

I remember the beauty of the snow covering everything. (Don't see any of it here in Florida.)

There is a special quality to seeing fresh snow early in the morning before anything or anyone has had a chance to mar the perfect whiteness.

Wait. What? said...

Tis the season!!!

ahhhh, I'm jealous!! We've only had a dusting last night here in Ohio. It's snowing now, but the ground is still to warm I think, just below freezing.

Still, I can't WAIT for my snow. Winter is my favorite time of year. Not the holidays mind you.....Just winter LOL.

This fall down here, in the Carolinas, is reminding me of the 2nd year we lived here and got snow. It is much colder at night hereat this time of year compared to normal. I've also noticed some early snow in various places around the country.

What a great sight to see snow. I miss those snows when I was a kid in VA.
