This is a constant lesson for me. Often, at the table I attend I say for myself, " I know that no matter what comes my way, I am no longer alone and I will not be destroyed. I may be hurt, but I trust God with the complete outcome." I often wish that the changes would come quicker or in a way that I think is best, but I'm learning that God's way is ALWAYS best if I wait on Him. He does not leave me hanging nor does He shrug me off. It's up to me how close I want to nestle in and let Him work in my life.
He gently leads and guides me into ways that are better than I've ever known before.
He ALWAYS loves me and knows what is best for me ~ on this I can stand.

Amen to that.
I adopted this book from my Mom after she passed away in 2003.
I read it every morning with my
Language of Letting go book.Both
are a huge part of my customized
recovery from codependency and more.One thing I found most powerful is the consistancy the Courage to Change shares in trusting our process and our higher power as we understand him/it.This really is a very helpful book for anyone who lives with alcoholism in and or around their lives.Thanks for sharing.
God is good and wants us to know more love always!
That's the one constant thought I take with me always, and when I look for ways to love, ways of love, ways that show love, I'm never disappointed in the result. Cause I always find that.
I don't always find stuff for me, but I do always find stuff he's doing to create love.
